⭐ What Readers & Educators Say

It's been a long time since I have read something just for the pleasure of reading, but boy am I glad I chose this novella. Catriona has touched on so many unspoken topics among teens in this book, neuro-atypical teen life, how it can impact interactions with friends and families and also tackles death and burials, all in one short book!
- Educator, Kristy

This book grabbed me and gripped me all the way through. A brilliant journey of friendship and family when normal looks a little different and people don't all fit in a box.

You will close Ways to Die Right with a lot on your mind and the story will linger with you - as all good stories should.
- Brenton
As a neurodivergent person, Joel may just be the most relatable character I’ve ever read. His hyperfixations and obsessive thoughts, his literal thinking, need for objectivity, social naivety (and occasional indifference to social norms) and his alexithymia all closely mirrored my own experiences as an anxious autistic teenager- not to mention the touch of existentialism!
